Easy Installation
The CD enables easy installation of OOo and other programs, using on screen prompts and a printed 'Quick Start Guide'. OOo requires Java for some functions, so the 8daysaweek CD can automatically install the latest version for you.
Other programs on the disc are easily installed by simply clicking on buttons in the Installation Menu. 'Read me' files are included to provide additional help.

If you're looking to optimise your computer's performance, store Internet files or download without worrying about catching a deadly virus, consider Norton SystemWorks 2002. This all-purpose utility suite promises top PC maintenance and protection, and includes new versions of Norton AntiVirus 2002, Utilities 2002, Clean Sweep 2002, and Roxio GoBack 3 Personal .Norton Utilities remains one of the suite's two key products (AntiVirus being the other) and includes utilities such as Speed Disk, which defrags hard drives much faster than the basic Disk Defragmenter that's included in Windows; UnErase, a wizard that resurrects deleted files; System Doctor, a status control panel, which shows your PC's condition at a glance. If you buy additional Norton products, they all neatly integrate under one common system "console", a centralised front-end that lets you control and configure all the products. Another nice touch is that, at long last, all the utilities now share a consistent user interface. This makes it easier to use, as does the One Button Checkup tool, which runs seven of the most important System Works tools, scans the Registry, and verifies that AntiVirus is on duty, all with just a single click from the first screen you see after launching the suite.
