  With the Thunderbirds Printer Studio CD-ROM, Lady Penelope, the Captain and all the other macrocephalic puppet favourites from the children's television show get together to help you draw and print fantastic images with your computer. Quite why these inanimate defenders of global freedom should be interested in helping you design a party invitation to your nan's 80th birthday bash is never quite explained, but there's no denying the puppet pals do a pretty good job.

  Ally yourself with the friendly on-disk Thunderbirds characters and you can make get well cards, Christmas party invites, special bookmarks, personalised business cards... you name it. If you wish you can use the pre-designed Thunderbirds "stars" and "logos" to liven up your own ideas: try putting a flash picture of Thunderbirds 2 on your homework roster to make that schoolwork a bit more bearable, or add a hint of the Mysterons to that Halloween party invite to give it a suitably menacing air. Or just send a stylised picture of the weird chauffeur (what's his name?) to your worst enemy at school.

  The software also comes with puzzles, pictures, on-screen colouring-in options, images from the TV show that can be altered and enlivened, and lots of other funky stuff that pretty much guarantee any Thunderbirds-oriented 6-year-old (and upwards) will have hours of diverting fun. --Sean Thomas
